Dr Nick Askew

Nick is the Founder and Director of Conservation Careers and holds a PhD in the behavioural ecology of Barn Owls. He is also a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Over the past 20 years, Nick has worked across the academic, public, private, charity, and enterprise sectors, raising over £2.5 million for conservation projects across 120 countries.

He has more than a decade of experience in professional communications and marketing within the conservation sector, including leading global communications for BirdLife International, the world’s largest conservation partnership.

Pedro Ribeiro

Pedro is a professional rewilding expert working for Rewilding Portugal, with extensive experience in rewilding and ecological restoration.

Pedro brings a rare mix of scientific insight, practical know-how, and infectious enthusiasm for letting nature lead.

Pedro’s rewilding work includes:
