Meet your trainers:
Dr Nick Askew
Nick is the Founder and Director of Conservation Careers and holds a PhD in the behavioural ecology of Barn Owls. He is also a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Over the past 20 years, Nick has worked across the academic, public, private, charity, and enterprise sectors, raising over £2.5 million for conservation projects across 120 countries.
He has more than a decade of experience in professional communications and marketing within the conservation sector, including leading global communications for BirdLife International, the world’s largest conservation partnership.
Nick is passionate about helping conservationists communicate more effectively, increase their impact, and strengthen their employability.
Felix Cybulla
Felix is a Certified Conservation Standards Coach, Facilitator, and Coach Trainer, with over a decade of experience supporting conservation teams worldwide.
He has trained organisations in more than 45 countries and worked with a wide range of institutions including WWF programmes across multiple regions, UNDP, The Conservation Measures Partnership, IFAW, EuroNatur, and Denver Zoo.
Felix is a co-founder of Ivakale.org and has a background in Global Change Management and International Forest Ecosystem Management. He brings deep practical insight into applying the Conservation Standards across diverse contexts and challenges.
