Dr Nick Askew

Nick is the Founder and Director of Conservation Careers and holds a PhD in the behavioural ecology of Barn Owls. He is also a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Over the past 20 years, Nick has worked across the academic, public, private, charity, and enterprise sectors, raising over £2.5 million for conservation projects across 120 countries.

Nick is passionate about helping conservationists communicate more effectively, increase their impact, and strengthen their employability.

Helen Gibbons

25+ years in conservation and organisational leadership, including the Maasai Mara Conservancies, The Gorilla Fund, Friends of Conservation, Worldwide Fund for Nature, Greenpeace and others.

Consultant to NGOs across Africa and globally, PostGrad from Yale in Conservation, Restoration & Sustainable Use, MSc Environmental Management and a first degree in Economics.

Certified climate change coach; facilitator and mentor - which all supports working in community-based conservation
